The cabin is in a beautiful pastoral setting overlooking a tranquil scene with fields, stone fences and grazing farm animals. Few cabins offer such seclusion and views. The cabin is only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge or Townsend. Immediate access to the park is a 5 minute drive to the entrance near Greenbrier School and Metcalf Bottoms. Local roads also allow access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while bypassing the traffic on the parkway. However, all amenities, including restaurants and groceries, are available right in Wear's Valley. The cabin is located at about 2200' of elevation within sight of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park boundary. This setting affords panoramic views of the mountains and across the valley to the west. The cove where the cabin is located is very private and well off the beaten path. The cabin is not near any developed resort or subdivision; the setting is still quite rural. There are no neighbors to the rear between the cabin and the park boundary.
